Vancouver (2020.01.13~2020.01.24)
Day 1
Hello.I'd like to share the wonderful experience in Vancouver. In last winter, there was a conference in Vancouver, Canada. So, I traveled Vancouver before the conference schedule.
From Incheon to Vancouver
Incheon airport is one of the most beautiful airport in the world. It's always flutter to visit there. I had a little time before getting on the plane, so I practiced speaking of conferene.
Vancouver International Airport, YVR
I also practiced speeking in the plane, too. And I watched Youtube which I downloaded at the home. I was surprised to get many questions during immigration.
I bought a "compass card'. Compass is the reloadable fare card that works everywhere on transit in Metro Vancouver. I strongly recommend that you buy it if you travel Vancouver. When I bought it, my credit card didn't work, so I paid with a check.
Accommodation
I use the airbnb accommodation. There was a private bathroom and I was really satisfied with my choice. And the house was near to King Edward Skytrain station, so you can go wherever you want very easily.
Lunch, BOILING POINT
I ate hot soup at BOILING POINT. It was really delicuous. When I went to the BOILING POINT, snow has piled up, so I was exhausted. But, I tough it's a good thing I visit here.
CF Pacific Centre
CF pacific centre is a shopping mall located in downtown Vancouver. I was so tired due to jet leg, but I went downtown to eat dinner. And I visited CF pacific centre as well. There is a store with fancy shoes and items like Supreme. And it is always happy to visit DISNEY store.
Vancouver Public Library
Finally, I visited Vancouver Public Library. The building was very large, grand and beautiful. The interior view through the glass on the first floor was impressive. Predictably, many students in Vancouver are likely to do their own work either alone or together at there. Of course, visitors are allowed to enter without any procedure.
Dinner, NOODLEBOX
For dinner, I ate beer and Pad Thai at a noodle box, the atmosphere was good, but the food was salty to eat a lot. The employees are really kind.
